The Lending landscape has changed so much since Banks de-regulation in the early eighties, to the point where customer loyalty belongs to a bygone era. When was the last time you had a call from a Bank Manager?
In order to achieve an ongoing relationship with Lenders, borrowers now need the engagement of a Finance Broker who:
- Understands the products and services from a variety of Lenders.
- Takes the time to understand the borrower's requirements for product and service along with his or her long term financial goals.
- Is on call to discuss the borrower's requirements and find the best-fit loan scenario.
- During the application process, keeps the borrower informed of progress on a regular basis.
- Understands the criticality of the settlement date and personally checks with the appropriate lending personnel to ensure all documentation is correct.
- Liaises with all parties to the property buying/selling process including Estate Agents, Solicitor/Conveyancor and others as required.
- Will keep borrowers informed of changes that may affect them long after the loan has been settled.
